Great Wolf Lodge

Two weekends ago, my parents graciously got Frankie, Brooks and I a room at the Great Wolf Lodge. They thought it would be a good opportunity for us to get away with just Brooks while they watched Briggs. THANK YOU!! We left around lunch time Saturday afternoon and were able to check into our room as soon as we got there. They got us a theme room and Brooks loved it. He had his own bunk bed that looked like you were sleeping outside. We played for a couple hours and finally convinced him to take a little nap since Justin, Erika, Anderson and Ellington were meeting us there later that afternoon. We played more when they got there but Anderson was not real sure about the whole water thing so he sat and played with cars and balls with Justin while Brooks ran around and did all the slides and toys. Brooks would come back ever so often to hang out with Anderson and play with his toys and then off he would go to slide again. They had a great time!! That evening we headed downstairs for dinner and then story time. I did not get any pictures of story time but both the boys sat through the entire book and little play that they do. It was super cute and appropriate for all ages... I think. As we made our way back upstairs we stopped and got ice cream and a cupcake. Both the boys loved the cupcake and shared it well. As most of you know, when Erika is around Brooks gets to have a splish-splash party in the tub. It took him a little while to realize that it was ok to do in the tub at the hotel but once he did it was all over from there. The bathroom floor was completely soaked and the boys were exhausted from all the day's events. Thanks again mom and dad and thanks to The Afkhami's for joining us for the day!!
