Easter Extravaganza

Easter weekend stared Thursday at Brooks' MDO. They had an Easter Egg hunt inside the school because the weather was yucky outside. Frankie was able to come watch Brooks that day and I know Brooks was excited to see his daddy at school.

Friday we dyed eggs. Of course things like this never turn out exactly as planned but I think the boys had a good time.

Saturday morning, after Brooks' BlastBall game, we headed to my parents to celebrate Easter with them. The Easter Bunny visited their house too. The boys got to open up their baskets of goodies and hunt eggs before we ate lunch.

Saturday evening we went to Crossroad Church to do the Easter Egg hunt there and attend the church service. It was unbelievable hot outside this afternoon and my poor boys were dressed in pants and long sleeved shirts. Do you see all the white speckles in the picture below? Those were the thousands of eggs that were filled with candy and raffle ticket. If you waited until after the church service they did a drawing for some pretty awesome prizes. We did not win, unfortunately!! All the eggs at the hunt were gone in a minute if not less.

Not really sure what is in Briggs' mouth but thought this was a cute picture of the Frankie and him.

Easter morning we stayed at our house, just the four of us, for the first time. The boys got to see what the Easter Bunny brought them, hunted eggs and just hung out and were lazy. It was a great Easter weekend ending with a fun family day!!
