Brooks had his very first Christmas party at school before they let out for winter break. I was a bad mommy and forgot my camera but still wanted to write about it. It was a very easy party... They ordered pizza, ate cupcakes, painted a picture and handed out their Christmas ornaments. The teachers made a Santa Claus with their hand print in a glass ornament and then wrote their names on them. They turned out very cute. It was also pajama day so all the kids had on really cute Christmas pjs.
It was also a kind of sad day because one of Brooks' teachers will not be returning after the break. She has some health issues and needs to take a break from her job. I will miss her but still love his other teacher and hope to get to know his new teacher. I am a little anxious about him going back to school after being home with me for 2.5 weeks and then there will be a new teacher there too. Hopefully he will pick it back up and get back into the grove of things!!
