Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was spent with my parents in the morning/early afternoon and then at Frankie's parents that afternoon into the evening. It is always so busy trying to see both families but we would not have it any other way. The food was great minus the fact that I could not have anything that had milk in it so that pretty much rules all the good stuff and desserts.

Friday evening we headed to downtown Fort Worth for the Parade of Lights. I was little concerned about having two kids out for that long but they both did great!! Brooks thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the parade vehicles from up on Pap's shoulders. I think that he be blinded in his left eye from Brooks holding a lighted stick there for at least 45 minutes. After the parade we walked over the the big Christmas tree to watch it be lit up. That was also very cool and Brooks enjoyed that also.
