Our 1 Year Old

Briggs turned 1 today. I can hardly believe that we made it through this past year and looking back it went so quickly. Briggs has the best disposition about him. He makes us laugh on a regular basis and him and Brooks have really begun to play with each other. They wrestle, chase each other, push each other on the ride-on toys and sit together to play with toys. Don't get me wrong, the boys fight often but when they play nicely I forget all the fighting that takes place on a regular basis. He has been teething for the past several weeks and FINALLY his top left tooth poked through yesterday (August 16). The rest are not far behind and hopefully we will be finished with teeth for awhile. He has begun to take steps by himself but will not be walking by the boys' birthday party this weekend. So excited to see how the boys interact and become friends over the next year!!

Briggs is wearing Brooks' 1st birthday t-shirt on his birthday. Both the boys have new shirts for this birthday party!! We are looking forward to a great time!!
