Briggs 9 Months Old

I cannot believe that Briggs is already three quarters of a year old. Time sure does fly when you are having fun!! Briggs had his 9 month appointment on the 18th of May. He weighed 17 lbs 7 oz (9%) and was 29.75 inches long (93%). The pediatrician is not concerned with his weight since he is continuing to gain weight and staying on his same track or at least the same track since all of his eating issues began. He had a very busy and productive month.
  • April 20: Started practicing with a sippy cup and water

  • April 28: Started eating cheerios on his own

  • April 29: Pulled up to his feet by himself

  • May 9: Said "Ma-Ma-Ma" obviously not towards me but it still makes me feel good

  • May 10: Decreased the number of bottles per day to 4

  • May 13: First Tooth!! Bottom right

He is still eating fairly well. He definitely has his good days and bad days. He is still in the process of "trying" all the new foods but doing well with them all so far. I have started small amounts of table food with each meal to hopefully make him a better eater than Brooks was.

The pediatrician did decided to send us to a different allergist for a second opinion. She wants to see what she thinks about starting whole milk at a year and also starting milk products now too. We go at the end of June.

Brooks and Briggs are starting to interact more so therefore they are fighting more. I did not know that it would start this soon but it has. Brooks has become a little more aggressive with Briggs but Briggs can definitely start his fair share of fights. I can see my future with many more years of fighting. I guess that's all for now.

Of course, Brooks wanted in on the picture taking!!
